Oola Distillery (Vodka Tasting)
Have you been to the Oola Distillery complimentary vodka tasting in Seattle’s Capitol Hill? Not me… until now. My homies and I were strolling down the street after brunch at Skillet and ran into the Oola Distillilery. I’ve always been curious of the local premium vodko and I’m not going to turn down a complimentary serving. We were able to sample the regular and rosemary vodka, as well as the gin. Pretty nice, crisp, and subtle.
So consider dropping by Oola for a sampling, hang out, and mini tour. The space is very Seattle with the industrial modern vibe. Another great activity on Capitol Hill.

Modernica Side Chair
newest chair to the collection. I had to cop the cold charcoal.
Quoin (aka Revel’s waiting area)
Quoin is quite the hip quaint bar lounge spot for a cocktail. It has a pretty nice list of curated drinks and infused SOJU. Drink of choice is the Paddington (bourbon with hints of orange) since I like the brown stuff. Also, a solid selection of whiskey, scotch, and a handful of beer handles. Quoin is connected to Revel and is designated as the waiting area since the restaurant has one of the biggest buzzes in Seattle.
Good drinks, awesome setting, and alleviates the wait. FYI, you can always order off the Revel menu and dine in the bar lounge if you get hungry.
Noguchi Dining Table (Modernica)
Finally copped my Noguchi dining table swag this past fall. I love the metal cyclone base detail and how it compliments the eames and modernica side chairs.
The Camp Quoddy cognac’s are perfectly distilled and ready for city dwelling.
Springwear is around the corner!
I’m hella tired of the Seattle, rain, sleek, and cold. Can’t wait to break out these pieces from the collection, the Black Tan Quoddy Blucher from Inventory Magazine and the Band of Outsiders Madras.
